Kyiv, Apr 6, (EFE).- At least three people were killed overnight in Odessa after a Russian drone strike hit residential buildings, administrative facilities, and other infrastructure, according to Oleh Kiper, governor of the Odessa region, of which the city is the capital.
«The dead are a 30-year-old woman and her small daughter, who was only 2½ years old, and another woman, 53,» Kiper wrote on his Telegram channel.
He also reported at least 13 people hospitalized as a result of the attack on Odesa, Ukraine’s main seaport.
Russia also struck the Kyiv region overnight, where authorities reported a blackout in the city of Slavutych after enemy drones hit energy infrastructure there.
Russian forces launched 141 strike drones against Ukraine overnight, according to the Ukrainian Air Force. Of those, 114 were neutralized and 26 struck 17 different locations across Ukraine, which the Air Force did not specify.
Debris from downed drones fell in an additional 13 locations, according to the military’s account of the attack. Several Russian drones were still flying over Ukrainian territory at the time the Air Force released its report. EFE
