Tehran, Mar 11 (EFE).- Iran’s Armed Forces accused the United States and Israel on Wednesday of attacking a bank inside the country after what it described as their “failure to achieve military objectives.”

The Islamic republic warned that Tehran now has “free hands” to deliver a “painful” response against their economic interests across the Middle East.
The Al-Anbiya Base, the unified command of Iran’s Armed Forces, described the alleged strike as “illegitimate and unconventional,” according to the state news agency IRNA, and warned that Tehran would deliver a “reciprocal and painful response.”
The command also urged people across the Middle East to stay at least one kilometer away from US or Israeli banks.
Earlier Wednesday, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard announced a new wave of attacks against Israel, as well as against US bases in Iraq and American naval forces in the region.
The escalation follows the joint attack launched by Israel and the United States against Iran on Feb. 28, which triggered the current conflict.
Since then, Iran has carried out repeated strikes against Israel that have killed at least ten people, according to available figures. EFE ms-sk
