Sports Desk, Aug 25 (EFE).- Liverpool beat Brentford 2-0 at Anfield on Sunday in the Premier League with goals from Colombian Luis Díaz and Egyptian Mohamed Salah.

Liverpool won their second match and kept pace with City, Arsenal, and Brighton, the only four teams with two consecutive wins at the start of the Premier League.

Brentford, now in their fourth successive season in England’s top flight, played well with a solid and hard-working team coached by Dane Thomas Frank, but it was not enough as they lacked in attack.

Liverpool started to control the game with a goal by Colombian football player Luis Díaz on a counterattack in the 13th minute.

The second goal came in the 71st minute by Mohamed Salah. After another turnover caused by Liverpool’s pressure, the ball fell to Luis Díaz, who assisted the Egyptian, who rarely misses, especially inside the area. EFE
