Bogota, Nov 3 (EFE).- Barcelona beat Espanyol 3-1 at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium on Sunday thanks to a double in the first half from Dani Olmo and a goal from Raphinha (Raphael Dias).

Barcelona controlled the game from the beginning, with Olmo making an impact in the first half by netting two goals. Raphinha added another, putting the hosts ahead 3-0 at halftime.
Despite the two ruled-out goals from Espanyol by VAR for offside, Javi Puado managed to break through and score. This game gave Barcelona a nine-point advantage over Real Madrid.

Minute of silence for the victims of DANA
Barcelona players Aitana Bonmati and Lamine Yamal, winners of the Golden Ball (Ballon d’Or) and Kopa Trophy respectively, were honored by the fans at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium before a minute’s silence in memory of the victims of the DANA during the derby against Espanyol.
The floods have claimed more than 200 lives, most of them in the Valencian community. EFE
