Madrid, Jan 19 (EFE).- Real Madrid stormed to the top of the EA Sports LaLiga table with a 4-1 win over UD Las Palmas at the Santiago Bernabéu on Sunday.
The Meringue side took advantage of Atlético Madrid’s 1-0 loss to Leganés on Saturday, their first defeat after 15 consecutive wins.
After an early goal from Fábio Silva put Las Palmas ahead, Real Madrid responded with vengeance.

Goals from Kylian Mbappé (18th and 36th minutes) and Brahim Díaz (33rd minute) ensured a calm second half in which Rodrygo scored the fourth goal in the 57th minute.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side moved two points clear of Atlético Madrid and seven points clear of Barcelona. EFE
