Ancelotti is focused on integrating the new elements of his squad and fine-tuning tactical adjustments, particularly in anticipation of French forward Kylian Mbappé’s arrival.
Mbappé, eagerly awaiting his Real Madrid debut, has completed his fifth training session at the Valdebebas training ground, the third alongside the full team. He is gradually adapting, playing more minutes in the small-sided games set up by the coaching staff.
In the first two days, Mbappé trained with Dani Carvajal, Ferland Mendy, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Eduardo Camavinga, Fede Valverde, and Jude Bellingham, who were the last to join the preseason after working out during their holidays. All are in top physical shape for the Super Cup match next Wednesday.
The Real Madrid squad, minus the injured David Alaba, began their morning with strength training in the gym.
The session then shifted to the pitch, where tactical drills took center stage, followed by intense matches as players compete for a spot in Ancelotti’s starting lineup.
This session marked the most intense training day yet for Real Madrid. The team will ease off on Monday, with a session starting at 10 a.m., as they gear up for the first official match of the new season. EFE rmm-ssk
