Moscow, July 3 (EFE).- Russian forces captured 11 Ukrainian settlements over the last week, the Russian Defense Ministry announced Friday in its weekly war report.
During the week the units of the military group Sever (North) took control of the Ukrainske town of the Kharkiv region, the Russian military command said on the Russian messaging system MAX.
It added that the South military group penetrated the enemy defenses and “liberated” two towns of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
The Vostok (East) military group took the towns of Novoskelevae, Pisantsi and Bogodarivka in the Dinpropetrovsk region, and Novoselikva, Rivne, Lesnoe and Kopani in the Zaporizhzhia region.
The Russian Defense Ministry said the village of Oleksandrivka in Ukraine’s eastern Dnipropetrovsk region went under Moscow’s control over the past day.
The Russian military command explained that during the last week Russian units continued the elimination of the last groups of Ukrainian military that remain in the city of Konstiantinivka and Liman. In the latter, the sappers have already begun the demining work.

The seizure of these two strategic cities will allow Russian forces to take over the Sloviansk and Kramatorsk flanks, the main Ukrainian strongholds in the Donetsk region, annexed in 2022 and partially occupied by Russia. EFE
