Ukraine’s armed forces said that Russia fired four ballistic missiles at Kyiv from the Voronezh region.

The fragments found at the site where one of the missiles fell match fragments previously identified as part of North Korean KN-23 ballistic missiles used by Russia in previous attacks, Ukrainian website specializing in military affairs Defense Express said.

Russia has used missiles received from North Korea on several occasions so far this year.

In addition to the capital, Russia also attacked the northeastern city of Kharkiv on Monday night, the second largest in the country after Kyiv.

Ukrainian authorities have also reported the launch by Russia of Shahed drones against Ukrainian territory in the last few hours. EFE
